Happy Halloween! Got your costume yet? You’re never too old to get spooky.

As a warmup, check out my recent appearance on the “Breaking Down Bits” podcast (also available on your favorite podcast app). I’m a big fan of Brian and Drew’s podcast and had been listening to a bunch of their episodes before I got to be in this one. We talked about my writing process for standup and news jokes and I got to share a lot of writing tips. For example, when I’m writing jokes for my TikTok channel, I use a list of “transitions” inspired by Conan writer Laurie Kilmartin.

And now, some comedy candy for your trick-or-treat sack:

One of my favorite bits is about how she invented a fake ending for the story of Anne Frank for her son, but I won’t spoil the reason why. I’ve been lucky enough to perform on shows with Laurie here in Los Angeles and she’s brilliant.

  1. Who was behind the Capitol insurrection? Will Trump run in 2024? Has he actually been president this whole year? Jordan Klepper heads to his first Trump rally since January 6th to find out:

  1. Comedy Central has released an awesome compilation of the full Key & Peele music catalog:

  1. Sarah Silverman savages her fellow dais members at the Roasts of James Franco, Pamela Anderson, and Bob Saget:
