Happy National Chocolate Ice Cream Day! I’m Geoff Plitt, and welcome to What You Need to Know, the brief, weekly newsletter where I share the best comedy videos I’ve seen all week. It will always be free, and you’re welcome to become a friend by following me on Twitter, Instagram, or TikTok, where I share my own jokes every week.
And now, the videos you came for:
Here’s a fun clip from The Daily Show this week where Jon Stewart covers Trump's guilty verdict, and the GOP's vow for revenge:
Jimmy Kimmel made laugh this week covering Trump’s flip-flopping on mail-in-ballots, the big gambling scandal in the MLB, and right-wingers pretending to be outraged by an animal documentary called “Queer Planet”:
Larry David was a guest on Kimmel and discussed getting into a fight with a guy in the supermarket, having house guests, whether or not a proper goodbye is important, how he memorized the Gettysburg Address, and whether or not to answer the phone during sex:
And finally, John Mulaney’s New in Town special from 2012 is now FREE to watch on YouTube. He gets into his boyish looks, his Jewish girlfriend, his favorite TV shows, Ice-T, a homeless person he met in N.Y., and a prostate exam with Batman:
Thanks for reading! Have a great weekend.

John Stewart and Jimmy Kimmel are two of my favs.
Oh, Happy Day. Guilty. 34 counts.
Excellent funny shows. Thank you for highlighting them. Just an observation, but does anyone else watching Larry see and hear Jerry Seinfeld? I know they worked closely together on the seinfeld show, but listening and watching Larry, I see even the gestures and intonation similar.
